The Human Muscles

The Muscular System is responsible for the movement of the human body. Muscles are fleshy tissues which provide motion to the body. After receive a signal from the nerve, the muscle contracts. The muscle contracts, it pulls on the bone to which it is attached. This moves the bone into a new position. It is also changes the shape of the body. These changes in shape help us to move fro place to place.

In the human body there are about 650 muscles. Muscles make up about 42% of a male body weight while 36% of a female body weight.

Muscles are three types they are involuntary muscles, voluntary muscles and cardiac muscles. Most of the muscles are made of tissues.

Involuntary muscles are made up of fibers. These muscles contract their own i.e. involuntarily. They are controlled automatically by autonomic nervous system. The walls of stomach, intestines and urator are made up of involuntary muscles. The walls of the blood vessels are also made up of involuntary muscles. These are called smooth muscles.

These muscles remain under our conscious control. Our arms and legs are moved by voluntary muscles. Most Voluntary muscles are attached to bones and are made up of many fibers. These muscles can contract quickly and powerfully. They are called striated muscles.

This muscle is found in the heart. Like voluntary muscles, it has fibers which can contract powerfully and rapidly like involuntary muscles. This muscle has features of both voluntary and involuntary muscles. This muscle works the entire life without any halt. Cardiac muscle is the only kind of muscle that continues contracting even if removed from the body.

  1. I bet you won't guess which muscle in your body is the muscle that gets rid of joint and back pains, anxiety and excessive fat.

This "hidden survival muscle" in your body will boost your energy, immune system, sexual function, strength and athletic skill when unlocked.
